## Why identity-free GPU access is hard to find

Every large GPU cloud requires corporate verification, and increasingly a stated use case. The reasons are partly export control, partly credit risk on hardware that costs as much as a car, and partly the reputational calculus of large providers about what people train.

We solve the credit-risk half by taking payment up front and on-chain. There is nothing to underwrite when the money has already settled, and no invoice to chase.

## What is on the machines

Ubuntu 24.04 with driver 570.x, CUDA 13.0, cuDNN 9, PyTorch 2.6 and JupyterLab, preinstalled and ready. SSH and Jupyter are reachable within about sixty seconds of provisioning. If you would rather start from nothing, choose the bare image and install your own stack.

Transfer is unmetered on every GPU plan, which matters more than people expect — pulling a 400 GB dataset and pushing checkpoints back can dominate the bill on a metered provider.

## Iceland for long training runs

Iceland is our recommendation for anything running for weeks. Power is entirely geothermal and hydroelectric, ambient cooling is free most of the year, and the legal posture is the strongest on the network. The price index is higher, but for a multi-week run the numbers work out in its favour more often than not.

### Do you ask what I am training?

No. There is no use-case form and no application review. Our acceptable-use policy applies to what you distribute from the server, not to what you compute on it.

### Is the GPU dedicated or shared?

Dedicated and passed through. The physical card is yours for the term with no time-slicing or MIG partitioning, so you get the full VRAM and full throughput.

### Can I rent by the hour?

No — monthly terms only. Hourly billing requires a credit relationship, and a credit relationship requires knowing who you are. That is the trade we made. For bursty inference, a per-second GPU cloud is genuinely the better tool.

### What about multi-GPU training?

ANVIL-4 gives four H100 SXM5 behind NVLink with 320 GB of HBM3. Multi-node InfiniBand clusters are available on request but are not self-service.
